As you will see these bikes where only built between 1989 and 2000 with the 1997 model being the latest. All the 400 bandits in SA are grey imports as they never built them in SA, go to any Suzuki dealer and ask them. Also don’t be fooled by the date on the registration papers as this is only the first date the bike was registered in SA not the year it was built. If you look closely you can see the difference between the first bandit built between 1989 and 1994 and the bandit v2 built between 1995 to 2000. This bike is a V2 and was registered in SA in 1997.
This is a great bike, easy to ride fast and very reliable. I have never had a problem with it but I want to upgrade to a bigger bike.
